I thankfully came across Joanne when I was in early third trimester. She helped me work through pelvic pain and general aches and pains that come along with pregnancy. Joanne is very warm and welcoming, easy to talk to and non judgemental. She listened to what I needed and didn't disappoint. I highly recommend.

Cat is awesome and her talent is remarkable

From the moment we met Emma, we knew she was the Doula for us. Throughout my pregnancy Emma was so attentive, caring and knowledgeable. Any questions I had, she provided a whole range of information that was completely unbiased to her own beliefs or opinions.Being a first-time mum, I didn't know exactly what to expect so when I went into labour, Emma made sure I was safe and supported. Her gentle and reassuring voice was my source of reason as it guided me through my contractions. Even in moments of doubt and fear, Emma was there, creating the space I needed to birth my daughter.Emma has been amazing to both me and my partner throughout our whole pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey, we cannot thank her enough for her support.If you are looking for a wholehearted, grounded and passionate Doula, then Emma is definitely for you!

I just knew in my heart that I would regret not having Cat photograph my birth and so at the last minute I reached out hoping Cat had a last spot and luckily she did.When Cat and I met, we had an immediate connection about all things birth. Cat has such a calm presence and I knew that I would feel comfortable with her being a part of my birth team. Cat truly understands the needs of a birthing woman and how to navigate holding space for a mum during that precious life event.In the lead up to my birth, Cat was so reassuring when I wobbled a bit about the time it was taking for labour to start. Her messages allowed me to centre myself and remain focused on the joy that was the last few days of pregnancy.On the day of my birth Cat arrived with no fuss or fanfare. She was not intrusive in anyway whatsoever. Cat was respectful and unassuming; she was in the background calmly taking the most incredible photos. When I asked for specific shots to be taken, Cat jumped into action readily. I am so grateful I had Cat there, the photos of my birth remind me each time I look at them just how incredible pregnancy and birth is.Cat happily mucked in and helped my midwife and doula clean up after the birth and worked so well as part of the team.I wish that every woman had the chance to document her birth in the way Cat does.

Amber went above and beyond our expectations! I wasn’t really sure what a doula was until I became pregnant and after doing my research I found Beyond the Birth. Amber empowered both my partner and I throughout this entire journey, and we couldn’t of asked for a better support person to join us on this crazy ride. She has such a down to earth, caring nature and made us feel so comfortable from the get go. She has a wealth of knowledge and I would highly recommend her to anyone thinking about allowing a doula into their birth space!

We did a Calm Birth course with Jess and were both really happy with the course and Jess’ training & knowledge. She is very easy to talk to and has so much valuable experience that she is happy to share. Would definitely recommend her services.
